When we take in a new dog it is with the hope that we will be able adopt them out after we evaluate their health and temperament.
Sometimes it takes us months to rehabilitate them and often we find that they are not adoptable, they may be too old, too sick or have
too many behavioral problems. We do not see euthanasia as an option unless the dog is in pain. We have had blind dogs, deaf dogs, blind and
deaf dogs, dogs with seizures, dogs with severe behavioral problems due to abuse, and dogs with terrible injuries due to neglect. They all
have either found a home with someone special or they have become a "forever foster" and stay with us until they cross the Rainbow
Bridge.
All of this takes time and dedication and most importantly MONEY. Please watch our video to see some of the dogs we have helped and
some sad statistics. Please have your speakers turned on and PRESS THE PLAY BUTTON. You can also right click on your mouse
and click Zoom and play the video full screen.
