We only adopt within the state of New Jersey and parts of New York that are within a reasonable driving distance from Northern New Jersey. Due to past experiences, we only adopt to previous dog owners. Rescue dogs are not always the best choice for first time dog owners. We require a recent vet reference, phone interview and a home visit. Once you have submitted your application please allow us time to process it. We are all volunteers that have families and full time jobs. We try to get back to you as quickly as we can. We do not adopt to families with children under 10 years of age. You must be at least 21 years old to adopt a pet from us. ** We can not guarantee the health of any of our pets. If we are aware of a health problem we will let you know, but any dog can get sick at any time. Please keep this in mind when applying for a senior dog ** All of our dogs are in foster homes, we do not have a shelter that you can stop by, therefore you need an approved application to meet a foster dog.
